Hot-mix asphalt is the material used to pave roads, driveways, and parking lots. It consists of aggregates bound together with asphalt cement. North State Trucking hauls fresh asphalt from local plants to your job site for immediate paving.

Proper asphalt installation requires a compacted ABC base beneath it. Most residential driveways use 2–3 inches of compacted asphalt. Commercial roads and heavy-traffic areas typically require 4 inches or more.

How much will I need?

A 2-inch layer over 1,000 sq ft requires roughly 12 tons. Driveways vary from 8 to 40+ loads.
